Your point about low meaning in corporate jargon is such an important one. Too many people think sounding smart is key and impressive. I’ve never believed that. If all people think of after hearing you speak is “they’re so smart, I’m just not smart enough to understand” it’s an immense failure on the speaker’s part. I’m still amazed by how many people find that ineffective language impressive.
I totally agree with you on that. What's most impressive is if you say something and people get it immediately. And that usually means using much simpler language that is easier to understand quickly. Thanks so much for your comment!
